Managing Director: Rob started the company in 1976 with his father Gerald who is now retired. Rob has always believed in having good quality equipment, and investing in technology. His open managerial approach and trust in his staff allows the continued growth of Stoneman Engineering. Rob believes in giving customers excellent service and value for money. For the continued growth of Stoneman Engineering, Rob believes in investing in youth with Modern Apprenticeship Schemes.
Director: A time-served apprentice at Marcus Hodges Engineers in Exeter , Graeme gained experience as a welder/fabricator before moving to Trevelare Ltd where he gained substantial experience of working on-site. Graeme joined Stonemans as a welder/fabricator and now with nearly 30 years experience and a wealth of knowledge of all aspects of engineering, especially within the construction and food related industries, Graeme plans all contracts through the works.
Company Secretary: Helens experience in customer services along with her personality ensures a friendly greeting when contacting Stoneman Engineering. She also administers the bought ledger, wages and taxation matters.
Director: Gail is Gerald's daughter and has worked for the company for 29 years. Her many rolls include receptionist and dealing with customers, be it ordering small items, or collecting finished jobs. She carries out various clerical duties, but above all she has a smiling face to all visitors.
Forman: A time-served apprentice Lee has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the fabrication industry; he is able to make practical decisions on the workshop floor. Lee is one of our senior managers and is also involved in the decision making of Stoneman Engineering's future plans.
Office Manager: A time-served apprentice, Wayne can assist in the design of your product and prepare quotations on your request. His experience in Computer Systems and Networking allow him to ensure the smooth running of a modern IT system at Stoneman Engineering.
Contracts Manager : A wealth of knowledge and experience allow Stephen's very practical mind to design and prepare quotations on your request.
H&S Advisor/Contracts Manager: John was originally apprenticed as a Marine Diesel Engineer (installation and repair). He has gained experience in museum restoration and conservation work. John is now involved in architectural steelwork and stainless steel design. John is also our Health and Safety Advisor.
Contracts Manager:
Contracts Manager: Originally apprenticed in structural engineering and spent many years working in the quarrying, commercial and domestic industry. Bob is now involved in all aspects of steel design and fabrication. Bob is the newest member within the drawing office team.
